💸Is Smug free to play?

Yes. Every game is free every day for everyone, and there is no subscription. There is a single optional one-off purchase that removes ads — it never changes scoring, and no game is ever locked behind it.

📧Do I need an account or an email address?

No. There is no sign-up wall and no email is required — your account is created quietly the first time you play. Connecting a Google account is optional, and only exists so your streak, medals and scores follow you to a new phone.

🤝Can I play Smug with friends?

Yes. Start a friend crew of up to seven players and you all share one private leaderboard. Crews are invitation-only, invitations must be accepted, and you always see the full roster before you join.

🔇Is there chat or messaging in Smug?

No. There is no chat, no direct messages, no comments and no free-text of any kind between players anywhere in Smug. Invitations carry no message and crew names are generated automatically. Crews share scores, nothing else.

💯How is my score worked out?

Every game scores on the same 0 to 100 scale, and the closer you get to perfect the higher you score — it is never all-or-nothing. Your score goes onto the daily, weekly, monthly and all-time leaderboards, both worldwide and for your country.

✈️Does Smug work offline?

Yes. You can play and keep your streak with no connection at all. Your score syncs to the leaderboards the next time you are online.
